Enrique Guerra installed a heroic-sized sculpture on the grounds of the historic Alamo in downtown San Antonio. Juan Nepumuceno Seguin was a Spanish-Tejano political and military figure of the Texas Revolution. As the formal representative of the Republic of Texas, Seguin accepted the surrender of the Mexican forces at the Alamo.
